Les Petits Baroudeurs is an online store and media outlet dedicated to nature and family life. We’re looking for a sales associate!

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic person who is passionate about the outdoors and nature, and ideally a parent. The project: to be part of a wonderful adventure—the opening of our first store, which is part of our commitment to responsible consumption. The ideal candidate will be able to share their passion and advise our families of outdoor enthusiasts with enthusiasm and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers with a smile
  • Assisting the customer: from the moment they enter the store until they check out
  • Ensure that products are stocked on the shelves and that the store is kept in good order
  • Contribute to the development and growth of the store and its offerings

About Les Petits Baroudeurs

  • For the past 10 years at Les Petits Baroudeurs, we’ve been helping parents introduce their children to nature and adventure. As both a media outlet and an online store, we inspire, advise, and equip families to get outdoors. Because we love connecting with our community and nothing can replace human interaction, we’ve been organizing immersive nature festivals every summer for the past five years, which have already brought together hundreds of families.
  • Today, we’re taking it a step further and setting up our base camp at Les Nouvelles Galeries in Annecy: a store focused on nature and experiences, serving as a gateway to future adventures for the kids who stop by. You’ll be joining the team already in place.

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service
  • A passion for outdoor sports and nature
  • Interest in children's products (books, games, clothing)
  • Dynamism and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience in sales or customer service is a plus
  • If, on top of that, you love camping 🔥 in the great outdoors and know how to change a diaper in the middle of the woods 🌲, then we can't wait to see you 🤗!

What We Offer

  • Schedule: 25 hours per week
  • Availability: Saturday is required
  • Rest: 2 days of rest per week
